I don't know either this related to Gnome version, or application.
But it definitely works before.
I'm using your extension for years.

  • GNOME Shell 45.6
  • Fedora release 39

Can you please share the exact text that you're trying to copy?

Hello.

Let's try for example next text:

  1. Ukrainian: "Слава Україні!" (Slava Ukraini!)
  2. Hindi: "नमस्ते" (Namaste)
  3. Yiddish: "מזל טוב" (Mazel tov)
  4. Japanese: "こんにちは" (Konnichiwa)
  5. Urdu: "السلام علیکم" (As-salamu alaykum)

As you may see. Sometimes it works for Ukrainian, sometimes not:
