clipboard-indicator causes the system to crash and require logout #430
Comments
Thank you for reporting. $ journalctl -f /usr/bin/gnome-shell --since="24 hours ago" |
Maybe this?

I don't think that's related. |
I am experiencing the same issue when trying to open the clipboard-indicator in any way. I am running Gnome 45.3 with X11 on Fedora 39 and kernel version Linux 6.6.13-200.fc39.x86_64. Gnome just crashes and requires to restart the session and logout. The log output looks similar to the one posted here before:
I am not sure whether this is related to this or another extension or some bug in X11. I am using this extension with other extensions, e.g. Dash to Dock. Let me know if you need more log outputs or system info. |
Apologies for not getting a chance to look at it. @lennard-m did you upgrade to GNOME 46 since then? |
When I interact in any way with the GUI of clipboard-indicator, the GUI freezes for a couple seconds and then an error screen appears saying: "A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. Please log out and try again."
I am using openSUSE Tumbleweed, Wayland, GNOME Shell 45.2.
