Collapsible tracker categories #390
Comments
thanks for the suggestion! what apps? |
i've only seen this for browsers, and they aren't actively supported |
...yeah, it's actually for my browser, but I didn't say anything because it's not technically supported. It works just fine, though - it's just tedious setting it up because everything is broken at first. It took me a few weeks of browsing and toggling the right hosts to make things work, but after that, it's not a big problem. There are tons of trackers that DuckDuckGo and Brave miss, and your app lets me block them. However, the list of hosts gets to be LONG... |
I second that whish. Although browsers are unsupported, TC works quite fine for them and I use it (together with other software) as an ad blocker for websites. Collapsing categories would come in very handy here. |
It would be helpful if the tracker categories could be collapsible. Some apps have a LOT of trackers and generate traffic to several distinct servers/hosts. If the categories could be collapsed, that would make finding the most recently blocked request a lot easier.
Also, if there could be a setting to have them expanded or collapsed by default, that would be nice.
Thanks for your awesome app and hard work!
