So I've tried out this auto-attach script (NVRInteractableItemAutoAttach) and I have to say it feels a bit off. I say this in the case of it really feeling like the controller has been set to a parent of the object, you aren't really able to let go of the object or at least enough for it to fall. It also doesn't take into account the grip presses, so it feels off in that sense too.

Is there any chance this could be looked at to maybe have a button check be considered at least? So it's more so

  • You hover over and it snaps to your hand
  • If you grip or ungrip, then it falls like a normal interactable object
  • If your hand is close enough then it repeats the first step
