Widget to show logs?

Hello,
I'm developing an app that happens to use click for command line processing and would like to be able to show the logs of the app in a tab.

My main interface always has tabbed content and I'd like one of the tabs to have the log. The logs are useful to the user while using the app. from what I can tell, the only way to see the logs of a textual app is to run the app in dev mode, and then show the logs in a separate app via textual command line.

How can I show the app logs in a tab?
