Flashing process crashes at 8%

Hello!

When I look to flash my wifidev board, it continues to crash at 8% of the way through writing, whether that is Maurauder or just Evil Portal.

I've made sure both my OS and Python are up to date, have used different cables, different ports. I am wondering if this is simply an issue of my older laptop being unable to handle this part of the process. The fan notably picks up.
