Date search swallowing characters #25
Comments
Hi Roddy, I'm not sure I understand, can you please provide an example, or a more detailed description of what is happening |
svySearch.CharSwallow.1.movsvySearch.CharSwallow.2.movHere are a couple of videos of a character being removed after typing them. |
Hi Roddy, do you use the keylistener service to search at each keystroke ? If you can share a sample solution where the issue is replicable we can investigater further. Regards, |
Hi,
We are using keylistener, the latest version, although this is used for all
searches and the character swallowing only seems to be happening on the
date search. I would like to be able to setup a sample solution but am not
sure what it would provide that one of your own would not; I'm currently
working towards a release and am unfortunately not able to allocate time to
further investigation.
Thanks,
Roddy

similar issue with older versions of Servoy.
If you can share a sample solution where the issue is replicable we can
investigater further.

When using a date format with alternate date formats; when a nominated separator ('/' and '-' in this case) is entered, it can swallow that character or the next character typed in. This is not consistent but happens frequently.
