When using a date format with alternate date formats; when a nominated separator ('/' and '-' in this case) is entered, it can swallow that character or the next character typed in. This is not consistent but happens frequently.

Hi Roddy, I'm not sure I understand, can you please provide an example, or a more detailed description of what is happening

svySearch.CharSwallow.1.mov
svySearch.CharSwallow.2.mov

Here are a couple of videos of a character being removed after typing them.

Hi Roddy,

do you use the keylistener service to search at each keystroke ?
Which version of Servoy, keylistener, svySearch are you using ? i recall a similar issue with older versions of Servoy.

If you can share a sample solution where the issue is replicable we can investigater further.

Regards,
Paolo
