@philipbaileynar I am just posting Riverscapes/pyBRAT#53 to draw your attention to previous (old) discussions on getting LANDFIRE or vegetation polygons mapped. We should revisit this to see if what we're doing in Bennett Layer Request is close... PLACEHOLDER

I think this is a post 1.0 idea, but it is diretcly related to using IGOs to harvest values using our warehouse API. We don't want to ping a RS_Context project and bring whole project. We want to add layer to the map and pull the zonal statistics from that raster for each DCE into a metric field.

There is a more generic question here about whether this information belongs in the DCE or the metric table. But this is one for @philipbaileynar and I to discuss in June.
