to reproduce:

  • create a project and add a few layers
  • sync and have a rough idea of long sync took
  • go to the app menu, then servers, add a new server B through a different wifi network. You have to switch your wifi to be on the other network. for example, if server A is on the internet, use the wifi network you usually use to add that server. then switch your network to a local wifi network where your laptop can also connect and serve as server.
  • now on your main project that you made in step Set up a new project in Arbiter #1 above, perform a sync. you have to switch to the original network where you can see server 1.
  • perform a sync. note that it takes muuuch longer than the first time you performed a sync.
  • remove server B
  • sync gain and notice sync is now perform like it originally did.
