Many of the queries were deployed as stored procedures in version v2 ahead of the February 2020 field test. Queries were rewritten directly into the Python Flask managers during the v3 refactoring in the app used in March 2021.

Once we finalize the latest features needed in the dashboard (see #11) we should evaluate whether a stored procedure approach improves performance and simplifies coding.
