OpenTelemetry metrics don't support multiple logical messages in a physical message

Currently, when a physical message contains multiple logical messages, the tags that are applied to the metrics gathered are those extracted from the first logical message. That means that if the logical messages differ in type/handler, the metric tags would be incorrect in such scenarios.

The metric tags should reflect those differences when a physical message contains multiple logical messages of different types.
