[Discussion] Should invalid JSON or empty JSON trigger success or failure?

The data task does finish, but is it a success?
Mostly the client won't be able to fix invalid json anyway, but we might want to show an alert to the user in some use cases. That, however, can be achieved by checking if the returned data is nil.
