I have followed the issue of variable speed pumps to sustain certain pressures or flows.
Many systems are now operating solar pumps in boreholes. My initial impulse was to model them as variable speed with certain target flows and adjust the drawdown using a head pattern in the reservoir. I see that that is not mature enough. The alternative is a very rough process with as many pump objects as solar hours.
Has this been considered before? Is there a procedure?
Thank you
