Walkthrough

The changes involve modifications to the conditional logic in an Ansible playbook, specifically for the roles ovos_hardware_mark1 and ovos_hardware_mark2. The conditions for checking the major version of the Debian distribution have been adjusted to ensure consistency, with the requirement for the version to be 11 or higher being reintroduced for both roles.

Changes

Files Change Summary
ansible/site.yml Adjusted conditional logic for roles ovos_hardware_mark1 and ovos_hardware_mark2 to ensure consistent checks for Debian version 11 or higher.

Poem

🐰 In the meadow where bunnies play,
New checks have hopped into our day!
With versions clear, we’ll leap and bound,
Ensuring our tasks are safe and sound.
So here’s to the code, with joy we sing,
For every change, a happy spring! 🌼

Chat

There are 3 ways to chat with CodeRabbit:

  • Review comments: Directly reply to a review comment made by CodeRabbit. Example:
    • I pushed a fix in commit <commit_id>.
    • Generate unit testing code for this file.
    • Open a follow-up GitHub issue for this discussion.
  • Files and specific lines of code (under the "Files changed" tab): Tag @coderabbitai in a new review comment at the desired location with your query. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai generate unit testing code for this file.
    • @coderabbitai modularize this function.
  • PR comments: Tag @coderabbitai in a new PR comment to ask questions about the PR branch. For the best results, please provide a very specific query, as very limited context is provided in this mode. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai generate interesting stats about this repository and render them as a table.
    • @coderabbitai show all the console.log statements in this repository.
    • @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
    • @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.
    • @coderabbitai help me debug CodeRabbit configuration file.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.

29-29: Condition added to check Debian version is appropriate.

The addition of the condition ansible_distribution_major_version is version('11', '>=') ensures that the role ovos_hardware_mark1 is executed only on Debian versions 11 or higher, which is crucial for compatibility and stability.

36-38: Conditions added to ovos_hardware_mark2 are appropriate and enhance specificity.

The condition ansible_distribution_major_version is version('11', '>=') aligns with the similar condition in ovos_hardware_mark1, ensuring consistency. The additional check for specific Raspberry Pi models ('Raspberry Pi 4' in ovos_installer_raspberrypi or 'Raspberry Pi 5' in ovos_installer_raspberrypi) is a thoughtful addition, enhancing the role's applicability to relevant hardware.

This is strange as the way how the condition works when multiples is that they act as a logical and, so order should not matter.
