With the latest build of OpenCubicChunks the game crashed at the start and says that galatic is a problem. Without Cubic everything working fine.

First this appears to be some custom build of cubic chunks with no way for me to determine the version from the log.
Second, galacticraft is not going to work with cubic chunks for many reasons even if it initializes and loads.
And then, it fails probably because some galacticraft access transformer didn't get applied correctly, which I can't even begin to diagnose without debug.log

I downloaded the latest files from github and reduced the maximum from integer max to 256 in the CubicChunks.java because the mod is only about an extended depth.
I did that six months ago and never had any problems. I have github files from about 3 months ago, no problems with galacticraft initializes. Now galactic crashes the game with the current files already when loading the mods off therefore no debug is written.

If there is no debug.log, try with vanilla launcher instead of twitch launcher.

Also you should clone the git repository to compile the mod if you want version number, not just download the zip file.

And once again, galacticraft has a whole lot of other issues with CC, like rockets not working properly (not just due to extra height), landing not working properly, digging below y=0 or above y=256 on GC planets crashing the server and probably other issues too.

I only use the Vanilla launcher and I tried again it will not debug.log file generated.
I tried it as you said with git clone and have repeated the whole it is the version 1.12.2-0.0.966.0

Can you try to use old version of the launcher? I think the new native launcher broken logging.

You can get the old java-based launcher by running the native launcher in compatibility mode with windows XP (that's the easiest way without finding direct download link)

I dont know the version, because it was a zip downlload with timetitle 7th April. Everthing loads with galatic and works fine. I have tested start and landing to and from the moon. Everything fine. I have put cubic chunk at a building heigh 256 and building deep is integer max.

I don't know what causes this issue with Galacticraft, but overall it's not going to be compatible. You also have project red which is also incompatible.

Project Red, I have no idea , what works and what not works at this mod, other people wish that mod. This modpack is an own creation for a serverproject with 5 friends and the world will be started in the next days.

Shouldn't this be closed and merged into #448?
