I think we should move the current sponsors to the top. Let's have the BOSC sponsors first, and then (smaller) the CoFest-only sponsors. Google Cloud should be listed in both.

CoFest sponsors should also be added to the CoFest page.

Also need to add new sponsors to https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/ (and if possible, fix the layout of the sponsor logos--I couldn't get them to line up vertically)

(closed by accident)
https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/about/ also has the sponsors listed at the bottom. I added the two other BOSC sponsors. Should we also add the CoFest sponsors? (Maybe not on this page)

Could I be added as a project owner here? I am not able to assign the new issue #20 to myself.

You should be able to now. Shout if not.

I think current sponsors are up to date on the sponsors page, and we have an issue open for collaborationfest. Closing this issue.

Thanks, all! For future reference, the pages that include sponsor logos are:

  1. https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/ (now up to date)
  2. https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/about/ [Peter: since removed]
  3. https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/schedule/ [Peter: updated]
  4. https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/sponsors/ (updated)
  5. https://www.open-bio.org/events/bosc/collaborationfest/ [Peter: updated]
  6. http://www.obf.io/wiki/CoFest_2019 [Peter: just a redirect now]
Change Slabo 27px font to something more bold-friendly #2, 3, 5 and 6 still need updating.

Also, with MediaWiki we had access to template and snippets for reused fragments of content - perfect for things like the sponsorship blocks here which are used on multiple pages.

I am unclear if and how we can do that with the WordPress blocks?

If the tagging makes it easy to insert "BOSC 2019" or "BOSC 2020" or "CoFest 2019", and any logo can have multiple tags - great plan!
