Description

Disabling system-wide animations causes folders to break and not be usable

Expected Behavior

Folder at least fully opens correctly

Actual Behavior

Folder half opens without the ability to see all icons within it or ability to tweak the folder settings. The apps are positioned "correctly" and you can click non-viewable apps that didnt render correctly

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Settings->Accessibility->Color and Motion->Remove Animations
  2. Open a folder on the Desktop/main screen

Device and OS

  • Device: Pixel 8
  • Android version: 14
  • Launcher version: 0.9.3
  • Rom: Pixel default

Can confirm this also happens on Pixel 8a, with the same android version, launcher version & rom. If any animations are turned off (either in the setting described in the op or in the developer options) then any apps above 4 in a folder will look like a couple are in a folder within the folder without a way to access them.

(In the image, there are 5 apps in this folder, but you wouldn't be able to tell with animations turned off)
