Hello
I have tried to plot the RCS as was described in
IEEE-MGWL-Exact-Nov1998.pdf.
As I have understood, the case is a 2D cylinder with radius being the same as the wavelength of the EM-pulse which is TE polarized.
To set up the case I have used the example given in https://meep.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Python_Tutorials/Eigenmode_Source/ to set up the source and used the case from #980 (comment) for the general setup.
I have changed this setup a bit such that it measures the RCS and have tried to attain the data in decibel.
The results I have acquired so far are
which is the exact shape as is given in the article but with far too high RCS values.
My setup consist of a source, cylinder and surrounding box as shown below.

Can anyone see why I get such large values in RCS compared to the article?
