VxIngest infrastructure for “diag” data from the GSI data assimilation for the real-time developmental RRFS

There is a VERY strong desire to have the “diag” data from the GSI data assimilation for the real-time developmental RRFS somehow ingested into the Vx system. Some of the innovations (jargon for “changes in the model initial conditions due to obs”) are shown in the Unified Graphics Project that is part of the 3d-RTMA effort. However, it would be great if we could look at statistics over time-series, valid-time, region, etc. Primarily with “O-B” (pronounced “oh minus bee”), but “O-A” would also be useful.

We need comments, ideas and suggestions for this effort. It will be prioritized below the current scorecard effort.
