A single repo for all of the Divas Live Bot series by Chloe Condon and Pj Metz. Using Twit to interact with the Twitter API. Much of the code used from The Coding Train and then organized to benefit us and our purposes. All bots' keys are stored in a .env file you'll need in order to keep your API keys hidden. For responses, users must tag the bot and use a secret word or series of emojis to make the function run. Currently hosted on Heroku.

Shania's functions are to tweet "Let's go Girls..." everyday using node schedule and to respond to users who tag her and say any word that contains "impress."
Mariah's function is to respond to users with " I don't know her..." and a shrug. This is a reference to Mariah not knowing J-lo, a popular meme. The emojis for Mariah are "👀🙄😒"
Botiana will respond to users with "Thank you, next..." from her song of the same name. You can activate her with "👀💅".
JustBotPaid has two functions. The first is to tweet every Friday at 5:30pm Eastern Time Zone. This tweet includes the video of NSYNC' performing their cover of "Just Got Paid" at the 2001 Billboards awards show. The second function is to tweet back at a user when they use "💰💰💰" emojis. When a user does this, JustBotPaid responds with a gif from the video for "Just Got Paid," but uses the original version instead. .
Kickstart.js is a bot that uses my personal twitter accounut to tweet at mountain dew for a sponsorship.
Bone Thugs, or First of the Month, tweets the music video for First of the month on the first day of the month.
Taking Bot Sunday responds to tweets where it's tagged with "emo" with a music video and some lyrics from that song. It also tweets on the firstt of the month, inserting whatever month it is into the lyrics "September never stays this cold, where I come from and you know..."
