Description

In our initial planning, we contemplated updating the extension's style architecture as part of the technical proposal for the shared UI component library. However, to ensure a more manageable workload and to separate concerns, we propose dividing this task into two distinct technical proposals.

The first proposal will focus on the shared UI component library, while the second will concentrate on updating the style architecture of the extension. Although implementing Tailwind for the style architecture update will significantly enhance the developer experience and complement the shared UI component library, it's not a prerequisite for its completion.

By splitting these tasks, we can progress one at a time, ensuring each receives the attention it deserves without overwhelming the team or conflating different areas of focus. Additionally, this approach will allow us to incorporate analytics from various Proof of Concepts (POCs), providing valuable insights and data-driven decision-making.

Technical Details

  • Separate the style architecture update from the Shared UI Component Technical Proposal
  • Incorporate analytics from various POCs to inform decision-making

Acceptance Criteria

  • The Shared UI Component Library does not include the style architecture update in the extension
  • Analytics from various POCs are incorporated into the planning and implementation process
