Reference issues 858, 860.
With MLX OFED 4.7.1-0.0.1:

  • Eth/Ip/UDP header is still 46 bytes instead of previously used 42. This is not a problem itself, just a possible indication of something wrong.
  • With cyclic buffer size of 32k packets, receiving packets works for a few seconds and then nothing is received.
  • Stopping and starting the application does not work.
  • Only rebooting the server or a NIC reset with mlxfwreset works to restore operation - for a few seconds again.
