Kent Trammell added some options for his tutorial.
His code can be downloaded from following link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/blendercookie/tutorials/2014/blender_modeling_sci-fi-helmet/blender-sculpt-tools-master.zip

It would be great to add this to the official addon.
