Similar to the interaction in MusicBrainz, when the user writes an MBID to the search bar, the dropdown search suggestions should displayed the relevant entity. For example:

  • Work MBID -> Related Composition
  • Recording MBID -> Related Recording
  • Artist MBID -> Related Artist under some of Performer, Composer and Lyricist (when the artist has one of the roles in the corpus)

This feature might be useful for all cultures.

@alastair if we have resources to add this functionality, it would be nice. Otherwise, esp. if this is going to be tedious, let's drop it.
