Based on @sankalpg's code.

Show motifs in the big melody view
When the cursor plays over a motif, highlight similar motifs in this recording in the mini view
Indicate all visible motifs on the melody view - Have an option to click and show metadata about this motif, and occurrences of this motif in other recordings in the database.
