What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. make the binary executable after unpacking
2. try to launch it in dolphin or using ./ command

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
~/l-echo-0.4.3_r108-lin32$ ./l-echo
start of load
Segmentation fault


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
L-Echo 0.4.3, Kubuntu 8.10

Please provide any additional information below.

Ok, type:

"ulimit -c unlimited"

Before running "./l-echo", and attach the "core" file here.

Try the playdeb it is easiest way to install l-echo. :)

Happens to me too, but I see the project is not active now, it has been a year 
later...
I have attached my core as well.
