What happened?

I put an SVG file into my vault and exported it. The file appeared in the file-tree, but when I went to the note that included that SVG as an attachment, I found out the file failed to embed. Looking through the files made me realize that the SVG was not in the export at all.

Reproduction

  1. Add an SVG file to a vault.
  2. Export the vault.
  3. Look for the file in the export or
  4. Deploy the export.
  5. Attempt to access the SVG file from the deployment.

It seems that I was wrong, this happens to all image attachments.

This only happens when I try to export to the same location a vault already is, closing the issue
