Just a mockup of how I think our splash screen might look like... of course it's subject to change overtime... :D

@mamarilmanson remember that the second story is the chosen one, it might be something with the main character and the plot.

Just some notes... when you hover over a button it slides to the right and changes the from gray to yellow... and maybe make more opaque... :)

@bojidar-bg is there a way to disable the mouse clicks in the controls, when there is a menu screen change?

@erik90mx ~ The UI/Game menu is good...

but...

can you please make it look exactly the same? because I did the buttons with "emotions first" in mind... considering the font(that's source sans pro - semi-bold btw), the length of the buttons, the extra spaces after the words... I wanted to convey modern, clean and tight ui... but the ui came out with a different vibe...

no harm intended... I hope you understand... :)

also btw... the logo and powered by intro seems fast... can you make them stay longer? maybe for 1 sec?

I need some tutorials about UI... I want to implement some UI design myself... :D

@erik90mx ~ Just have some controls_disabled_until variable, and when you change the screen make it equal to OS.get_unix_timestamp() + screen_transition_time (not sure of the name of that function). Then, when you click a button, check if OS.get_unix_timestamp() > controls_disabled_until, and only if so, respond to the click. (I hope you wanted to just disable buttons while switching between screens, right?)

@mamarilmanson ~ nice prototype screen! Sorry I didn't find time to teach you... maybe you should read the Godot wiki, and try to follow along their instructions, so you will try it first-hand 😄 (I might record some screen capture of me explaining it 😉)

might as well build UI tuts for the community to learn from... not just me... :D

@erik90mx ~ I don't have time to do the bg art during weekdays... i'll do it on the weekend... but i already have the concept...

I also plan on doing the bg art to be animated (cut-out, and just a simple/subtle movements) as well to create more atmosphere on the menu... :)

@mamarilmanson we are close to the Alpha if you test the game :) , we need to finish the intro and the charater design.
from the writer words "The fisic complexion needs to be reduced, he is a business man and very intellectual not an action one. The face need to be more peaceful (he will have glasses btw) not so angry, remember that he is a very thinking man with obtuse mind."

PD: keep the art in different layers, I will try to import them to make them animatable

Hey, this guy looks very cool @mamarilmanson. Are you going for a male character in the end? I liked the idea of a female main character, it's not often that we find them in video games, even less in brutal kill them all games :-p

@erik90mx I might try to do something for the main screen, but don't rely too much on me.... I'll have a nice 'vacation' ( @mamarilmanson 😉 ) next week, so I'll have to prepare luggage and stuff 😄
