I converted this library to .net core because I needed it for the project with target .net core 2.1.

In addition to your nuget:kafka-net-core, it seems someone else has also published nuget:kafka-net-for-dotnet-core but theirs is without the source code.

As a user of kafka-net, I think it's definitely a valuable conversion. :)
