once I open handywinget and it says "downloading database" within seconds it crashes and the program closes itself.

not sure where to find the log to provide more info, the application directory is empty

I have access to logs through the AppCenter
If this is your device, according to the report, No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

i tested it and worked fine.

deleting folders and re-running doesn't fix
internet connection is fine on host, sounds like this version doesnt honor the system proxy settings. (previous version was fine)

The proxy part is interesting. It seems now that the new version is not playing nicely with proxy. @ghost1372 - maybe because of use of azure host now?

I have this issue when "Show Installed Packages" is selected, it crashes shortly after loading (4.0-beta 1). With this option disabled, it works fine.

There is no "actual machine" I'm testing the app on a vm in esxi.

I cant access the gui to check any settings but if i look at config.json everything's set to false
(and as I previously said I can delete the appdata and it doesn't change anything)
