Launchpad vanishing bug

I have just achieved tier one and made it to the moon for the first time. I travelled to the moon and back to overworld without incident, and my rocket and launchpad followed me as intended. I did not break my lander prior to leaving.

When I returned to the moon later, I noticed the original lander still on the surface, I landed in the exact same spot as my original landing. At first, I was unable to click either lander. I attacked them with my pickaxe and both landers broke, but only my rocket fell to the ground.

I restored from a backup and went back to the moon, I arrived in a different place this time but neither lander contained my launchpad, only the rocket.

I have attempted cheating in launchpads on the moon to return and see if they would appear in the overworld upon return, no luck.
I have attempted reinstalling the modpack and restoring from a backup, no luck.

Is this an issue that has been seen before? Is there a possible fix?
