Submit the dataset to the LOD Cloud for inclusion.

See https://lod-cloud.net/add-dataset for the form. And https://lod-cloud.net/#about for the principles.
Out of what they ask for, the following need some decisions:

  • Full download
  • SPARQL endpoint (optional)
  • Example (easy enough but where do we host it?)
  • Website
  • Contact point (for support)
  • License (they only provide a list of standard open source ones, so the GLEIF license won't work)
  • DOI (see Research DOIs - does it make sense to version daily? #157)
  • Image
  • The Principles require:
  • There must be resolvable http:// (or https://) URIs. _See Design and implementation for URI dereferencing #175 _
  • They must resolve, with or without content negotiation, to RDF data in one of the popular RDF formats (RDFa, RDF/XML, Turtle, N-Triples).
  • The dataset must contain at least 1000 triples. (Hence, your FOAF file most likely does not qualify.)
  • The dataset must be connected via RDF links to a dataset that is already in the diagram. This means, either your dataset must use URIs from the other dataset, or vice versa. We arbitrarily require at least 50 links.
  • Access of the entire dataset must be possible via RDF crawling, via an RDF dump, or via a SPARQL endpoint.

There are some criteria including the requirement to have 50 links to existing LOD Cloud datasets. Looking to get the OMG LCC data up there, but that has a similar challenge - will try to link to Geonames.
