Use permalink and Canonical link for profile

This looks really good, at the moment I link from by blog to my LinkedIn profile which is far too clunky and slow, but something like this would be a much better option.

we get a requirement that each profile should have a unique, canonical link. This should be the same link that others use to look at your profile.

So not example.com/profile/me, but example.com/m/@[email protected]. Especially when "looking at your own profile" you need to be able to share the link easy and quick.

Potential additions are: own DNS, being able to self-define the link etc.
