Hi;

What needs to be done to get this out of the experimental stage?
Who can I connect to to potentially sponsor to help achieve that goal?

Hi @becph01 , I have started this project as a way to address the issues and not-maintained state of WinAppDriver. That being said, for test automation at my current job I am currently still using WinAppDriver despite its shortcomings, just because I am one of the few maintainers and developers of this project at the moment and I want this project to grow in the number of people that evaluate and use it and the number of maintainers.

To get this project out of the experimental stage, you can certainly help in various ways:

  • Evaluate if the current version works for your purposes and file issues if you discover any missing features or bugs. Let me know if it works sufficiently at the moment already
  • Consider if the value of using this project is sufficient for you or your employer to help maintain it in your or your employer's time
  • Contribute by raising pull requests to solve open issues for the project (at the moment there are few, but I guess there will be more after your evaluation)

I hope that helps!
