Then I cloned the age repo and did this go build cmd, but I do not see a result, though my machine was busy for a few minutes.
I am not a C-programmer, but I compile C-projects since my first Linux distro, where it was normal, to compile the kernel in order to meet the hardware of the computer. C-projects do have install instructions and standard build processes, which makes compiling and installing the software easy. Age does not even have a Makefile or any file, that may be a hint to a build procedure. And go build cmd does not even produce some output. So I am puzzled now.

It would be great, if the README would contain some build instructions. I tried
go install filippo.io/age/cmd/...@latest
