frr: command not found

I want to invoke bgpd by file invocation method - to do that, I need to execute "frr" command?

I get "frr: command not found error"

# frr
-bash: frr: command not found

# frr version
-bash: frr: command not found

whereas frr systemctl status shows running

After setting:
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/lib/frr/

I could run

bgpd --version
bgpd version 7.5

But if I run: bgpd with file invocation method, I get:

bgpd -f /etc/frr/bgpd.conf
2022/07/22 18:40:15 BGP: [EC 100663303] Could not lock pid_file /var/run/frr/bgpd.pid (Resource temporarily unavailable), exiting.  Please ensure that the daemon is not already running

If I disable BGPd in daemon and then try the above command: it is stuck, I am looking for a guidance on how exactly we need to trigger BGPd with file configuration? Please guide.

Can you show the ls -la /var/run/frr? And btw, do you run as root user or not?

If you want to start only bgpd, frr MUST be stopped.
