I have frr running on an ubuntu server along with strongswan to connect IPSec tunnel with bgp routing to Azure VPN Gateway.
both Azure Network and the network behind the frr server are the same (overlapping subnets) 10.1.0.0/16.
NAT policy rules are configured on the Azure VPN Gateway to take care of the overlapping subnets.
Whether I use the NAT'ed Azure peer IP or the original peer IP address, the state of the peers always stay in Active state and not in connected state
Here are some facts on this setup
frr server:
peer ip address: 10.1.0.22
azure vpn gateway:
peer ip address0: 10.1.0.4 (NAT'ed IP: 10.10.0.4)
peer ip address1: 10.1.0.5 (NAT'ed IP: 10.10.0.5)
Here is the current configuration:
any help is really appreciated.
