E-learning navigation bar improvement

The navigation tab of E-learning does not look appealing as the items are not aligned properly and the button switching the mode does not even responsive.

I want to make the navigation tab look more appealing to the users and want to make it responsive for all screen sizes.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I provided the screenshot and you can see that the mode button is barely visible and the navigation tab does not look appealing.
I want to work on this feature and want to enhance the UI, please assign me this under GSSOC23
