On the Cosmo Communicator (Android 9) EZ-Wifi shows <unknown ssid> for a network where on an Android 8 device the ssid is being shown correctly. From the behaviour it looks like EZ-Wifi should request location permission.

sorry for the late response. I haven't checked this email for a while.
Unfortunately I don't longer any available time to maintain EZ-Wifi.
It's open-sourced long ago on GitHub, so if you're an android developer or
know one, feel free to fix the issue and push a pull-request. I'll merge it
and will deploy into the Play! store.
