Zooma - Zooma returns 500 error for queries containing brackets #21

Zooma returns a 500 error for queries like this:
type="treatment", value="caffeine (20 mg/kg)"
http://www.ebi.ac.uk/spot/zooma/v2/api/services/annotate?propertyValue=caffeine+%2820+mg%2Fkg%29&propertyType=treatment&filter=required:[atlas,gxa,gwas,efo]preferred:[atlas,gxa,gwas,efo]
Tony thinks it is because a regex is getting confused by brackets.
