Python environment manager support for micromamba installed via homebrew on MacOS

The Python environment manager extension does not work with micromamba installed via homebrew on MacOS.
I tried putting the binary in ~/.micromamba/micromamba and ~/.micromamba/bin/micromamba but it does not help.
It does not see existing environments created in ~/micromamba and cannot create new ones either.
