With these compute settings the app crash as well:

The issue for @Hpn4's file appears to be the image view mode.

The one in the compute_settings isn't the default one in the UI, so the latter asks the API to update it in the pipe immedately (for some reason).
Then, as this is in the launch process of the app, no pipe is initialised ; so Holovibes crashes.
(pipe is initialized only when the Start button is clicked)

I could not reproduce @noTban's crash though...
