How many possible 8-digit codes are there? I have 100,000 attempts behind me and I wonder how many more?

My friend, it would take more time than the heat death of the universe. I recommend you just stick to the 6 digit codes.

If you know some/most parts of one of your backup codes, and you are savvy in Python, you could edit the program so that it tries to run through only the template you provide.
