Metacat 3.1.0 will use Hashstore as the storage system. In order to retrieve the objects and system metadata from Hashstore, Dataone-indexer needs to use Hashstore as well.
We are going to use the adopter pattern to integrate the Hashstore library. So we can change to the other implementations easily when it is needed.
