Does cookbook install python modules defined in custom checks #609

I have an issue that's related to this
DataDog/integrations-core#1623

I now know that I just have to install it through the embedded pip which fixed my issue.

My understanding is that the cookbook handles installing the modules in the python checks. If this is not true how are python modules installed. i.e. consul
