Current situation:
People aren't aware that we have notifications built-in already, to use it we have to go to 'feature-preview' and then enabling.
Desired situation:
We should let the users know that we have notifications, something very similar to what trustroots is doing (picture attached)
ToDo:
Show this modal once to all new users & existing users, to do this [suggestion here, implement as you believe is the best way]
Create a new column in the user table, something like was_modal_shown, which should be false by default
After log in/sing up, check this field if is false show the modal, after pressing any modal button, the table field should updated, so the modal doesn't show up again.
Title: "Don't miss anything"
subtitle: "Can we send you push-notifications? You can change your notification preferences on the account settings page at any time"
options: [yes, please], [no thanks]
