I had a connection problem after updating version 2.8.0. I had a generated wallet based on the metamask seed phrase. After the update, snap prompted me to reconnect and for some reason generated a new wallet instead of using the previous one. Please help me figure out what the problem might be here, why I can’t connect to my wallet. I know that I should export private key for fully privacy but but I think that the correct behavior would be when one generated snap corresponds to one metamask wallet. You also state that deleting a snap will not damage the account, but why then is a new account generated instead of the old one after the update?
