What problem does this address?

Coming from this ticket https://wordpress.org/support/topic/featured-image-size-limitation/ ( but I remember a pro user that had the same request at some point ), the user is complaining about the featured image size being limited on the single post page (the image gets cut).

What is your proposed solution?

Allow the full image to be visible on the single post page, as other themes do.

Will this feature require documentation? (Optional)

I dont know.
