CTC23 project to help free cities from noise pollution and make your city sounds beautiful.
The concept shows noise levels on a map and a breakdown of what the sources are; and provides evidence on how to change the status quo.
The first phase is to visualize noise pollution data on a map.
The second phase is to allow stakeholders to join the location and say how they are affected.
The third phase is to all the suggestion and implementation of solutions to reduce the noise (such as living walls, trees, installations etc.)
notes.md contains reference material and reading lists related to the project.
The geojson/abdn directory contains estimated noise pollution per source type extracted from Lukas Martinelli's Global Noise Pollution Map. This is used in the first phase of the project to enable the creation of an interactive proof of concept web page.
