May be it have some issue with VPN? When I turned off my VPN Chrome browser extension Chia made an attempt to sync. But then failed.
Previous version had no problems with VPN usage

I got the same problem and i solved by these step:

1. Make sure you turn off all Window Firewall.
2. Setup the time of your computer correct. let it get the time auto.
3. At the Full Node Screen on chia application. go down to Connections. Press Connect to other peer to add more node connection with your computer.

• Ip address / host = node.chia.net
• Port = 8444
  Save it, make sure it appear after that on table.
  Look at to Up / Down MB if have change from 0 - xx, that mean you download data from new node success. that mean your app can sync now.

I see that the issue may be in that is my port 8444 is closed and I can not open it since I don't have an access to router settings :(

Do you have any connections to peers? Is the peak height increasing? If so, then your connection is fine and you don't need to open port 8444. Opening port 8444 "helps" but isn't essential as far as I can see.

I was struggling to get my node synced for hours, but then I realised my system time was off by 30 mins. It has to be within 5 mins of the current time otherwise it always says not synced.
